In a Tizzy is the solo project of singer-songwriter Theresa Layne. In a Tizzy’s sound mixes elements of folk, pop and country like Sara Bareilles, KT Tunstall, and Dusty Springfield with guitar arrangements and vocals that accentuate storytelling. Theresa has a background performing in theater, making her a master at live performance, audience connection, and storytelling. She is a positive force of joyful energy that exudes from her soul. After spending many years performing across the Southwest in professional theaters, films, TV, and national commercials, she has returned to her one true passion, performing live as a solo artist.
